At 8:30 PM on Dec. 7, the power all of a sudden went out in our home. We watched out our main room window oblivious and saw a mass of 20-40-foot-high flares on a nearby slope clearing towards us.
The Lilac Fire, which began as a little wildfire on Interstate 15 in San Diego County prior that day, had rapidly developed to more than 4,000 sections of land. Also, we were presently in the fire’s line of sight. Continue reading “Innovation Helping Firefighters Tackle Wildfires”
